As part of its new ReportFraud.ftc.gov site, the Federal Trade Commission is launching a Community Advocate Center for legal aid organizations, to help connect them with resources to help them find actionable steps people can take to try to recover money lost to fraud. Fraud losses are frequently considered irrecoverable, but we know that people are sometimes able to get their money back if they act quickly. 

The webinar will cover these actionable steps, as well as how to use the Community Advocate Center to find tailored advice for your client’s situation. Learn how the FTC and legal services organizations can work together to stop illegal practices, deliver consumer alerts, and connect people with FTC refund programs.
